Mission
Support the school district to provide the best possible education to our most valuable resource – our children.
I believe that supporting this mission requires a strong commitment to:
- Support the school district team members
- 'Laser' type focus on students
- Collaboration and mutual trust among board members
I believe that behind every successful person is a successful teacher, and behind those teachers are a host of committed school staff members. The ability to retain and recruit high performing teachers, coaches, administrators, and support staff is critical to our district's success.
I believe that every decision within the district should begin with the question, "Does this benefit student learning?" It is essential that we put the students before all things. I believe this 'laser' type focus on student learning leaves no room for individual agendas and should provide the basis for building strong partnerships in our district.
I believe that failure to work collaboratively, with mutual trust, erodes opportunities for critical change and greatly increases the risk of missing key opportunites for growth.
I am proud to say that I am a graduate of Camdenton High School. I consider myself blessed to be able to raise my three children in this community and in the Camdenton R-III school district. I hope that you take a look at my biography; I believe you will find a strong professional and personal history that would add value to our district's Board.
What is difficult to share in a biography is the passion I have for our school district. I am a Laker and would like your support on April 2nd!
